i'm not just a photographer
as you may or may not know, i'm a registered dental hygienist and i practice several days a week. i absolutely love being a dental hygienist, but i also love being a photographer too!
i have always been a super creative person and have always needed ways to use the creative parts of my brain. when i was in college i got my first "nice" camera and from there i spent much of my free time teaching myself how to shoot in manual mode and practicing my new skills on my friends.
now i'm lucky enough to be able to split my weeks doing both things i love. most people don't even have one job that they absolutely love - i am so so lucky that i get to have two.
